Putting your future first
Transparency is at the heart of what we do. We believe you should always know what to expect from our services. We commit to being professional and fair, selecting mortgage, equity release, and insurance products based entirely on what’s best for you and your financial goals.
Residential and buy-to-let mortgages
Most mortgage advisers charge a fee to arrange a mortgage, even though they receive a commission from the lender. We don’t.
For residential and buy-to-let mortgage advice, we’re paid directly by the lender once the mortgage is completed. This means you won’t pay us any fees for our service. This straightforward approach allows us to focus entirely on finding the right product for you, without any hidden costs or surprises.
Protection planning
Protecting yourself, your family, or your business is a crucial part of financial planning. We provide advice on non-investment protection products, such as life cover, critical illness, and income protection.
How it works
We are paid a commission from the insurer. Although you won’t pay us an upfront fee, this doesn’t mean our service is free. Our payment is covered indirectly through deductions from your policy premiums. We will always tell you the exact commission amount before you commit to any product.
Important note: If you stop paying premiums on a regular contribution policy, we may be required to refund the commission to the policy provider. In such cases, we reserve the right to request payment for our services.
Equity release advice
Equity release is a way to access the wealth tied up in your property. We offer comprehensive advice on a range of equity release products from across the market, including lifetime mortgages and home reversion plans.
How it works
Our minimum charge for our equity release service is £1,000, which is payable when you apply for a mortgage. We also receive a commission from the equity release provider, the amount of which will be fully disclosed on the illustration you receive for your chosen product.
What happens if your equity release does not go ahead?
- Full refund: You will receive a full refund of your fee if we have not started any research or processing on your behalf.
- No refund: Your fee is non-refundable if we have conducted research, sourced a suitable provider, and submitted an application to a lender.
